My Story- Andrew Cameron
As a child, two things fascinated me: understanding complex systems and creating art.
Those interests led me to major in Economics at Furman University. In my free time I took a leadership position
at a student organization where I designed advertising for over 50 speaking events. I continued that path at Drexel University,
completing a Master of Science in Business Analytics and taking courses in statistics,
mathematics, and computer science. Through a series of project‑based analytics courses,
I discovered how much I enjoy coding, building things, and creative problem-solving.
I started my career at Crane Payment Innovations where I led marketing experiments and analyzed
ad‑screen performance across a network of 40,000 vending machines. As I gained expertise with
transaction‑level Internet of Things data, my work expanded to support marketing, sales, product management, finance, and
customer service. I build reporting, automated processes, and deliver insights with the latest technologies.
Not wanting to be limited by out‑of‑the‑box dashboards, I learned web development to gain more control over
how data tools look and feel.
With this website I plan to implement modern analytics engineering practices,
including AI agents and data pipelines, to demonstrate what’s possible when creativity and
technical skill come together.
